President’s Message |
|
Hello and welcome to all ACFA members and those visiting our site.
First I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year and a successful 2011. May all your eggs be fertile and all your babies show winners.
Secondly I would like to shay how much of an honor it is to be your President for 2011. This will be a difficult year for the club as I will not be available
for every meeting due to my work commitments. However, if we all pill together as a team I am sure we can make 2011 a success.
I would like to thank all retiring officials for all their hard work in 2010 and hope that they can all feel free to contribute to the running of the ACFA in 2011.
I feel that this year as in previous years we have a good mix of experience and enthusiasm and will all pull together to make the ACFA better every day.
This year I would like to see more involvement from our members and therefore intend to give all members their say in as many of the clubs decisions as possible.
We will attempt to have a "Speakers" for each of your monthly meeting. I you have any special requests for speakers, please feel free to contact me with your suggestions.
I would like to see all members involved in the running of the ACFA and therefore invite you to attend all of the clubs meeting, or it this is not possible, to send me your
thought, questions and grievances (hopefully not too many) so that we can continually improve our club. The hobby of breeding and exhibiting birds is slowly on the decline.
Only with the enthusiasm of our members can we ensure that the hobby turns the corner to start a period of growth.
I look forward with enthusiasm to serving as your 2011 President.
Alan Dean
